As the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) imposes an emission fee on ships that breach it and reward vessels burning cleaner fuels, Nigeria is expected to save at least $2 billion annually by implementing its climate pledge to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 20 per cent.
