Nigeria is still struggling on its 5G as subscriptions reached 1.9 billion globally. The current Ericsson Mobility Report revealed that in Q2’24, 5G reached 1.9 billion subscriptions globally.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2024, Nigeria’s 5G subscription grew to 2.7 million after more than one year it was launched in the country.
Statistics released by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) revealed that Nigeria’s mobile network landscape experienced a slower shift towards newer technologies, with 5G subscriptions reaching 2.7 million in March 2024.
