Subsidy removal increased FAAC disbursement by 29% to N15.1 trillion in 2023 

The disbursement from the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) to the federal government, states and local government in 2023 reached $16.8 billion representing an increase of 29.05% when compared to the figure for 2022.

The total FAAC disbursement for 2022 stood at $13 billion according to the NESG macro-economic outlook for 2024.
