Soya Beans: Massive Export Stirs 22% Price Increase

Despite complaints by local millers, a total of 1.25 million tonnes of soya beans valued at $484 million has been shipped from Lagos and Tincan Island ports to Pakistan and India in the last one year.

The millers said massive export of the commodity had forced the price to increase by 22 per cent this year.
