The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has exceeded its revenue generation by 25.2 per cent from $2 billion generated in the whole of 2023 to $2.6 billion between January and September 2024.
The service noted that the year – on – year improvement on import duty collection showed a marked improvement by the measures put in place by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and commercial banks in the adoption of digital infrastructure for the customs processes.
