No fewer than 7.19 million electricity users in Nigeria are still unmetered electricity, representing 54.58 per cent of the electricity users.
This is according to data in the June 2024 Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) Metering and Customer Service Standard facts sheet of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), which was seen by New Telegraph over the weekend.
