The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) announced the successful upgrade and energization of two 100MVA 132/33kV power transformers at its 132kV Benin Transmission Substation and Ihovbor Work Centre in Edo State, thanks to funding from the World Bank.
This upgrade significantly improves bulk power supply to the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), benefiting communities like Egba, Oluku, Ihovbor, and neighboring areas.
